Students follow a bespoke curriculum which closely aligns with the National Curriculum.

Throughout KS3 we aim to provide students with foundational geographical knowledge and skills to enable successful progression into KS4. Students study a range of physical and human topics and develop essential geographical enquiry and skills.

Autumn 2 Exploring Britain (2 weeks) and Amazing Places (4 weeks). Exploring Britain topic assessment.
Spring 1 Amazing Places (4 weeks) and Rivers (2 weeks). Amazing Places Geographical skills assessment.
Spring 2 Rivers (4 weeks) and Shopping project (2 weeks). Rivers end of topic assessment.
Summer 1 Shopping project (5 weeks). Shopping project assessed through fieldwork booklet.
Summer 2 Migration. Cumulative knowledge test.
