East Barnet School operates on a cashless catering system for purchasing meals.

Typical Weekly Menu

Hot Main Meals

Monday – Vegetarian Bake, Cheese & Onion Puffs, Macaroni Cheese Pasta, Tomato & Basil Pasta, Jacket Potato, Beef Lasagne and/or Minced Beef Hot Pot.*

Tuesday – Chicken Pie, Vegetable Bake, Texas BBQ Chicken, Chinese Stir Fry, Vegetable Bites, Vegetable Lasagne and/or Vegetarian Wraps.*

Wednesday – Chicken Curry, Vegetarian Meat-Free Balls, Jacket Potato, Thai Vegetable Sweet Chili Stir Fry and/or Pasta.*

Thursday – Minced Beef Meat Balls in Italian Sauce, Steak Pie and/or Vegetarian Flat Bread.*

Friday – Breaded Haddock, Pork Sausages, Chicken Strips, Cheese Omelette and/or Veggie Burger, Chips, Peas and Beans.*

*All meals have the option of a selection of sides and desserts.

Lighter Options

There are a selection of sandwiches available as an alternative to a hot main meal. Sandwiches cannot be purchased as part of the meal deal and any extras, such as puddings, must be paid for separately. Students are more than welcome to bring a packed lunch if they prefer.

Water Fountains

Students are more than welcome to use the water fountains around the school and may bring in an empty bottle from home to fill and use throughout the day.

Staff (adults) – Add VAT @ 20% to all food/drink prices.
