November 11th marked Remembrance Sunday in the UK, and in Barnet, it is always an honour for East Barnet School to take part the commemorations. Our Head Students attend the event annually, and were proud once again to lay a wreath in memory of all of those that have fallen and continue to serve.
It was also brilliant to see a Year 7, Jordan K, who was invited to perform with the Royal British Legion Veterans on their march through Barnet remembering fallen soldiers. He was given a uniform and a marching drum which he played alongside former student Anna Volstad on trumpet and a piper. He was responsible for laying a poppy wreath at the war memorial.
