Christmas Jumper Day and Student Lunch

Dear Parents/Carers

I am writing to inform you about some of the events we will be running in the build up to the End of Term.

We will be holding a WEAR A CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY on Friday 11th of December in aid of Save the Children. This is a national event that takes place annually to raise money for vulnerable children.

Please note, that although students are permitted to wear a Christmas themed jumper, the rest of the school uniform is expected to be worn as normal. Regular school rules apply regarding hair, makeup, footwear and jewellery. Students must also come equipped for learning.

If your child wishes to take part in the event, a voluntary contribution of £1 (or more if they wish) will be collected during form time.

Also taking place on Friday 11th December will be our student Christmas lunch, this is always very popular and therefore we ask that tickets are ordered in advance via parent pay. The cost of lunch is £3.50 and the menu is included below. If you are entitled to free school meals then your child will automatically be given a ticket. A selection of sandwiches will also be served on the day if your child does not want the Christmas lunch.

I look forward to seeing the students in their Christmas jumpers on Friday 11th December.

Yours faithfully

Ms L Coffill
Associate Deputy Headteacher
