Dear Parents and Carers,
You may be aware that we replaced our school management information system over the summer holidays to the cloud-based system Bromcom. We have now fully implemented the system in school and are ready to introduce the next phase by inviting parents and carers to access their child’s record using the ‘My Child at School’ web portal and mobile app – MCAS.
This system will be the backbone of our communications with parents and carers and will be the primary tool used in all communications with you on all school matters. It is important that everyone uses this system to access their child’s record. It will support your child’s learning by allowing us to keep you informed, message you and allowing you to receive your child’s school reports – all reports will be provided to you electronically via MCAS including the Autumn Term report that will be issued to you shortly.
The mobile app, which is available for both IOS and Android devices, will allow us to contact you in just the same way as the current text system, but without the cost of each message and so helping to protect school finances.
Over the coming days we will be sending a text message to those contacts with ‘Parental Responsibility’. It will contain a web link to the registration page for MCAS, a login name and invitation code to allow the recipient to activate their account and set a password. The text message will be delivered from our school system and will have the telephone number 020 8344 2100 associated to it. It will look something like this:

Simply click the link or type it into your browser address bar and enter the details. Fill in the School ID: 11936, your login and the invitation code. MCAS will ask you to enter an email address and password. You will then receive an email from the MCAS system confirming that your account is set up and requesting you to ‘click’ on a link to verify your email address.
We will be emailing you a ‘How to use MCAS’ guide in the next few days (you can also access it here), if you have not received this by the time you receive your invitation text, please check your ‘Junk Mail’ folder and if you still can’t find this please contact the School Office to confirm that we have the correct email address for you – this is important as we will be making use of the emails to contact you in the future.
Basic information, timetable, attendance messages and student reports will be available in MCAS from the outset and we will be making further pages available to all users in the coming months.
