The school timetable is created to ensure that all students have enough lesson time to accommodate the full spectrum of National Curriculum subjects. Further information on what is being studied in each term of each year can be found on our Academic Curriculum page.
School starts every day at 8:45am and students are expected to arrive at 8.40am so they are not late. Once the gates have been shut, students are deemed to be late and must sign in at the front office. School finishes at 3.25pm, and it is at this time that some students choose to stay for extra-curricular clubs, to conduct research in the Library or to make use of group space for collaborative projects.
Please note that we have an early finish on Wednesdays where students are expected to take part in private study at home through structured online learning.
At the start of a new academic year, all students will be issued with their own personal timetable via their Form Tutors. These should be copied into the student planner for safekeeping to ensure punctuality to each lesson. In the unlikely event of any clashes or gaps, students should visit the student window to iron out any issues.
