On Remembrance Sunday, which fell on the 12th of November 2023, I had the honour of participating in a remembrance ceremony in which I played the Last Post, and I, along with our other Head Student, Bhavika Mistry, had the privilege of laying a wreath, a poignant moment for the both of us.
Despite the rare show of rain, the event was dignified and reflective, and we both appreciated the opportunity to gather with the community to pay our respects to the fallen heroes who put their lives on the line for freedom. It was a really touching occasion and we both felt proud to represent the East Barnet School community at such a meaningful event.
