One of the aims of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 is that public authorities, including all maintained schools, should be clear and proactive about the information they will make public.
To do this, we must produce a publication scheme setting out:
The scheme covers information already published and information which is to be published in the future. All information in our publication scheme is either available on this website to download and print off or available in paper form from the school. Some information is not reproducible as either a paper or electronic copy, but you are able to view the original in person by appointment at the school.
Some information which we hold may not be made public, for example personal information. Our publication scheme conforms to the model scheme for schools approved by the Information Commissioner. A full copy is available from the school and is in the list of downloads below.
Please note that our policies are under constant review. While we endeavour to maintain up to date downloads, there is inevitably a short delay in publishing files to the internet. You are advised to check with the school for the latest versions if required.
Some of our policies may be in ‘Draft’ format, which means the policy has been approved by the relevant Governing Committee and is just waiting to be ratified by the Full Governing Body (FGB). As there are only a few FGB meetings every year, we publish draft policies when they are approved by committees, as to not delay the policy cycles. On occasion, emergency amendments are also necessary, and these too are referenced as draft policies.
All of our policies are in a PDF format; a free PDF reader can be downloaded directly from Adobe in various formats and different operating systems. For more information and to download, please click here.
