Students Wowed by Wicked

east barnet school students outside the theatre to see wicked

On 18 January the Music and Drama Department ran a KS4 trip to see Wicked in London’s West End. Defying Gravity, the song that closes Act One, is one of the set works studied for GCSE Music. Our students were able to analyse the performance as well as enjoy the rest of the show. Wicked is an amazing production with a fabulous cast and technical crew. Students were able to admire the lighting, sound, costumes and drama as well as the music. They had the chance to see the orchestra pit during the interval and visit the sound desk. As always, our students were a credit to the school and were extremely appreciative. It was a great evening.
