Our Year 11s were thoroughly entertained and engaged recently by Matt Green, The Rapping Science Teacher. Matt, who lives in the Barnet area, has over 900k social media followers, and recently reached the quarter-final of ITV’s The Voice. Matt delivered amazing raps on Photosynthesis, the Electromagnetic Spectrum and the Reactivity Series. The students loved his rapping skills and as a former science teacher, Matt also showed us how understanding difficult concepts can be helped by putting the information into a rap or song. We thank Matt very much for his visit and hope that students experiment with this as a revision technique whilst they prepare for their up and coming GCSEs.
